Welcome to the HATTRI Corporation's Intercontinental Fusion Energy Complex, or HIFEC.
This facility, built in 2054 and housing the world's first commercially viable inertial confinement fusion reactor, was created by a partnership between the HATTRI Corporation, the Japanese Government, the United States of America, and the United Nations.
The reactor itself is capable of outputting terawatts of power for powering multiple nations at a time, finally making fossil fuels obsolete.
Heavily inspired by Quantum Science's JNL and fry's Lyre franchise.

A stormy winter's night, on the snow-covered ISRAPH-ACAF Topside Campus.
The Administrative Cabinet huddle in front of the fire in the quiet Storage Unit 07. They spend the night cracking jokes and sharing stories, not fearing the howling anomalies below, not acknowledging the raging storm above.
