In the year 2015, a comet enters earths atmosphere. It melts, but some chunks fly into orbit around the earth, making most clouds turn to water. Once those chunks melt, earth has been flooded. It is now 3552. Humans have turned into 2 species: Sandmen, who can control sand, and Palemen, who can breathe underwater for 20 minutes. They have been fighting since they chose to live on land and in water.
