This game is a PvE horror shooter. You are tasked with investigating a biological research facility completely overrun by WE-30, which lost all communications on Day 47 of the "White-Eyes" outbreak. This is the second facility to fall—the first, in the Middle East, was erased by nuclear fire. The MGF in the original Examination was deployed to the nuclear facility in Monroe City. You are a separate MGF task force, sent to clear the fallen Shenzhou facility. The fate of the early wave—the Highland Pathogen Control Agency (HPCA)—is known: they were wiped out.
