In 1939 S.S Anglia and her Twin sister S.S Leinester Were re-fitted in to Hospital ships for the war in 1940 S.S Anglia was sent to Dunkirk to Pick up Passengers Before she escaped to the ocean she was bombed and sank midway from port Sending A SOS Before they sank Leinester Came steaming to the rescue by 10:35 PM she arrived to pick up passengers. She made it out untouched by the germans. Soon she was made into a Passenger Liner again a 3rd Sister Was Built similar to the Leinester but different interior desgins Leinester was scrapped in 1955 and the 3rd Sister became a Hotel
