This is a recreation of the real life abandoned town known as Pripyat. On April 26, 1986, Chernobyl Nuclear Reactor Number 4 blew up and spread radiation as far as Sweden and other nations. The town of Pripyat that housed many of the reactor's workers was told about the accident a couple of days later and were forced to be evacuated. They were told that they could come back in two weeks, but they never did. So this is the recreation of a 30 year old town that is still crumbling to this day
