A great nation has fallen, but anarchy does not rule the streets, as one might expect. Bandits do not roam the countryside, nor do numerous factions vie for control over what remains. Rather, the inhabitants have united themselves in preparing their home to be turned into a battlefield. An ambitious neighbor, or perhaps a bitter enemy, has seen fit to take the opportunity to conquer their lands. This coast, the site of many ancient battles, will be the first line of defense. On one side: Remnants of the fallen nation. A combined force of citizen militias, former military, and old allies who have not yet turned their cheek. On the other: Mercenaries and scavengers; sent by another power which does not wish to engage in open conflict. Who will you support?
