A Union fort built on a island in Lake Michigan close to the Michigan shore in 1759 to protect from the threat of the local Indians and the French. In 1776, It was used by the British to hold off Hostile French Soldiers and Indians as well as revolutionaries. It was captured by the revolutionaries in 1779 and saw its last days in the War as a Port. It again saw little use in 1812, but then in 1861, the Civil War broke out. Mid-way during the war, Confederate boats somehow got onto the island and started attacking. ______________________ To raid: Must be at least 3 Union soldiers and 2 Confederates. To Win: Change the flag in the fort and hold it for 5 minutes.
