PR is a pvp-focused open-world game. It may be confusing at first, but if you read the tutorial I'm sure you'll get the hang of things Explore. Not many pirates explore after they've gotten the things they deem necessary. Take advantage of that and scrounge the map for Devil Fruits, chests, weapons and much more. Once enough bounty is gained, you can exchange it for different fighting styles. Bounty also increases the chances of you unlocking haki.
