    Pine Harbor is a city in Pine County, Washington, United States. The population was 9,930 as of the 1920 census. It is the county seat and the only incorporated city in the county. Pine Harbor is well known for it's fishing industries, which is mainly set on salmon and crab. History: Early Days - Pine Harbor was first settled in 1875 by an influx of Scandinavians and Southern Slavs. The city was incorporated in 1879. It was named for the Pine Trees that surrounded the area. Croatians and Norwegians worked together to start up a fishing industry. Lumber companies also began to bloom and strive. 20th Century - In the early 1900's vineyards also began to sprang up which also attracted others to settle into the area.

    Ross County is a fictional county in Texas, south of Corpus Christi, and north of Layola Beach. Ross County was established in 1888 from portions of Nueces County and Kleberg County. As of the 2010 Census, the population is 5,022. Ross County was first settled mainly by Croatian, Serbian, and others from what would be Ex-Yugoslavia starting in 1888, which many still remain. But success in cattle ranching and fisheries have brought the attention of others to come, further growing the county's population. Ross County's seat is Hansborough, a city with a population of around 861 The city was founded in 1888 and was incorporated in 1891. Every August 5, a feast is celebrated within the Croatian community for Our Lady of the Snows.

    Glenwick, officially the City of Glenwick, is a city in Perham County, Maine, United States. Glenwick is situated on the coast and as of 2017 has a total population of 26,045. History: Glenwick was first settled in 1848 mainly by German immigrants. In 1855, a few hundred Dalmatian-Croatians and Serbians started to move into the area. A village was established in 1859 with a population of 600. Germans started up cranberry farming industries, while Croatians sprung up fisheries. Between 1859 and 1875, the population grew from 600 to 11,093, mainly by the Germans, Croats, and Serbs, but other Slavs came into the area. Glenwick became a town in 1879 and was incorporated as a city in 1890 with a population of 14,497. The 1890's saw a sprawling of sardine factories which brought more growth.     Crandale is a city in East Central Washington, Maine, United States and has a total population of 28,430. The city is nicknamed Cranberry Paradise due to it's booming Cranberry Industry. History: Crandale was settled in 1868 by Croatian, Serbian, and German immigrants and was incorporated as a town in 1870, and as a city in 1885. Crandale has been greatly influenced by German architecture, with many buildings displaying German Step Gables on it's roofs. The city was named for the many Cranberry farms that the city has. Crandale has a narrow river and a covered bridge that was built in 1892, after it's original bridge that was built in 1869 collapsed. Geography: Crandale is located in the unorganized territory, East Central Washington, and is bordered by Lubec. Economy: Crandale mainly depends on it's Cranberry, Lumber, and fishing industries.
