  • Facility S60, 'Penrose'

    Facility S60 'Penrose' is a research station on the edges of the Union's periphery that is built within the vicinity of the Kaarinabog Malignant. Since the beginning of the war decades ago, the Penrose Research Station has become a key point in the contested region of the Polchernik Administrative Zone, due to the mountains of research regarding old bioweapons and the reverse-engineering of Oldest War artifacts hiding deep within old server stores. Unfortunately for us, we're no exception to the parties interested. We've organized you and numerous other Cleaners to deploy to the Penrose Research Station and maintain a solid defense against Union military forces, mercenary boarding parties, and roaming Taskmasters while our technicians decrypt, defragment, and extract data. Deploy, hold out for as long as possible, secure data trays, destroy hostile data thieves, and extract when the heat gets too high.

    The Polchernik Administrative Sector (PAS)—or, Polcherniy—is one of the most contested regions in the Derelict. In the shadow of the greatest war of the last 800 years to befall the Union, the Derelict remains an isolated and fervent conflict. This is Sibiliy, a colonial city in the flashpoint. Most have fled, and factions remain to wrest for control of the city's power grid and industry. Here lies a clash between the remnants of the colonial Union powers, military corporations and private Cleaner offices, the indigenous Gliesians, and the millennia-old cybernetic immortal Mokozh haunted by the echoes of the Oldest War. What you want to become in this story is constrained only by your will and desire. Remember one thing: There is no fight where you lose nothing.
