Now, we all know that Freddy from Scooby-Doo is one of the most powerful characters, in not just his universe, but in all of anime and even all of fiction. However, despite his omnipresence throughout our mere mortal plane of existence, he has left us with one ever-nagging question in the back of our minds. How much can he bench? This question has driven many a scientist mad but I believe that I have found the answer. Now, before I reveal my answer I should explain my reasoning behind. With all his power, how is he restrained on the miserable planet that is Earth? The answer is hidden in his ascot. You see, Freddy's ascot is weighted. And it's not weighted with something measly like a few tons. No, Freddy's ascot weighs the equivalence of 6 times the planet Jupiter. This can be evidenced by Season 3, Episode 5 of "What's New Scooby-Doo" where Freddy jumps in the air and his ascot remains grounded to his chest.
