USS St. Elmo has a long history in the ROBLOXian Navy, being the oldest ship in the arsenal. St. Elmo, the ship's namesake town, was the very place she was built at and is the only ship of her type left in existence. Despite being a century old, she did play a key role in the Roblox-Blockland war as a coastal defense vessel. She alone stopped over 20,000 Blocklandian troops from coming ashore at the Battle of St. Elmo, the first objective of the Blockland strategy. While both the town and the ship suffered heavy damage, she fought on untill ever single shell and bullet aboard the ship was spent. Suffering from three direct torpedo hits from aircraft, she finally sank eight hours into the fight. Almost none of her crew survived (only 13 of the original 600+). A few months after the battle, she was raised from the grave and restored to full working order. After the war ended, her remaining crew were given the Congressional medal of Honor and a courageous resistance medal
