I had joined the USM on February 21st 2010. I completed my first BMT the same week. I served as enlisted till December 12th when i was a E-7 and completed my first Officers Training Course. about a week later i was promoted from an O-1 to an O-3 for defending O.P. Seal from an attack we had received at Kunar until Marine and Air force reinforcements had arrived. then about a month later i had received the silver star at Kunar for an ambush when i was out on patrol with the 2nd armored division with O-4 (at the time) dusty121 and we stood and defended the position till a evac chopper came and picked us up. I then joined the 28th ID and was under the command of O-7 pcars. i stayed there till i became an O-5 and became the CO of the 28th ID untill my retirement on January 16th 2014.
