The Interstice is a sky without a horizon, a realm of drifting islands suspended in a mostly unexplored sub-dimension within a powerful relic owned by the Duskbound R&D division. It is used as both a library and a place to train promising recruits. Each island exists with its own season, untouched by others. One may burn beneath an unyielding summer sun, while another nearby lies buried in eternal winter. Islands that are found to have a good amount of resources have been magically anchored to the Hydrus engine in the sub-dimension, while others float past, only to replaced by new arrivals shortly after. Millions of scripts have been written in books that float around the area, recorded by the cloudsteel golem that resides in the realm. Stoneridge is a fortress in the harsh northern wilderness, once founded by the legendary Knights of Redcliff. Abandoned after a siege, it lay dormant for decades until reclaimed fifty years later as a training ground and bastion against the Arktorans and raiders that plague the region.

Located deep within the Infernal Depths, The Crucible is a fortress surrounded by erupting volcanoes and rivers of molten lava. It serves as a place for training Recruits of the 75th Legion of Firebrand. Alongside this, it houses statues of the few members of the Flameheart family, immortalizing their memory in the very land they protect with their lives. Amidst the constant rumble of volcanic activity, this bastion stands as a tribute to their strength, the stonework preserving their names in history.
