  • Langton's Ant

    Langton's Ant is a cool concept where there is one single ant that moves pseudo-randomly among a too-dimensional world. When the ant reaches a white square(or if there's no square at all, it makes a square), it will make the square's color red and turn right. If the ant reaches a red square, it will make the square's color white and turn left. Believe it or not, it make an extremely complicated path until it reaches about 10,000 steps. Then, it will set itself up in a pattern where it will endlessly go in a direction. This is called a highway. In different variations of Langton's ant, it will make different patterns like triangles and squares and all of that jazz. I don't know about you, but this is interesting. So as it turns out, someone else already made Langton's ant. So I guess i'm the 2nd to create Lagton's ant even though the 1st one was better.
