I close my eyes wearily, and I can hear perpetual joys and laughter - all those sparkling smiling faces welcoming me to the grand dinner table. The sweet music plays to the celebratory toasts as all is fun and games; however, just as the magical party becomes the refraction of reality, the mirror shatters and the illumination of inner peace is banished forever into Oblivion. My eyes change into a mournful tint of blue, as the Sinister Minister drags me out of paradise with his scaly hands and his shrewd grin. The disheartening revelation of crossing the Rubicon paralyzes me with anxiety and regret. Alas, I wave to the ever-fading familiar faces one final goodbye as I wail incessantly and ponder the last joyous moments I shared with them. I open my eyes and see a white light but nothing else coexisting in its presence.
