Roblox Riders DEMO / Booth (DevCon)
Golden Crown Studios' demo booth from DevCon 2017! A slightly more recent thing I did! Ain't that sweet that I'm not some guy not acknowledging that I've been chilling on posting-my-work for a while. I'm innocent! I swear! It's just that this I'm doing other life things and hey this is still cool please just play it ok? Ok? Ok! Booth and Demo Map were built by me. Quantum_Depression did the engine, and Mannequeen did gui art as well as assisted with gameplay assets.
Totac Project Showcase: Leafwood Forest
-Large *messy* world, be prepared to either computer burn or graphically armor up. - Areas like Treetops aren't able to be explored without admin cmds. Feel free to call me if you want to explore the rest of it. - I ONLY MADE THE MAPS. CREDIT THE REST OF GCS AND IT'S FORMER MEMBERS FOR OTHER ENGINE PARTS -BuilderBudCarl, created the engine used. - DokterSuper, created gui art and Totac Logo. Major artist for this project. - POLYBLUES, another artist of the project who made the faces used on characters, and more gui help on other versions of the engine. This map is a noted piece of my efforts for 2 years; being a part of a big project by Golden Crown Studios (GCS) named "Tale of the Alternating Clock" (Totac). Leafwood Forest has gone through multiple iterations and constant refinements. Whilst not using all it's ideas, it's got a lot of tweaks and pushes from where it first came from. Enough to acknowledge its scale and size progression over the years.
Totac Project: Retexture Works
These are the Re-texture Works I've done from Golden Crown Studio's Tale of the Alternating Clock project. Including a few other project works on the side. - Credit to DokterSuper for Enigma's mask, and the hair on one version of Mallus. (The one with hair swooshed back)
The Forgotten Island
Out of all my old nature/island showcases, I'd say this is one of the first and best maps to use my usual style of rock mountain-scape. A pretty simple yet decent looking style. What made it effective for me is that, when I did work on actual projects, it was easy to lay down style that makes ok nature environments. I hope you can find something interest in it, even though it's kinda old and not well-optimized brick count wise. You will experience tons of lag. Don't expect anything that'll be smooth.
First ever showcase I made. I wasn't experienced. Was supposedly to be a dream world of all my older Roblox avatars in a little hangout dreamworld. Another old one which I kinda dig but has a lot of issues in bases and by the end I kinda just went "Bug it!" and got lazy enough to add the old Egg hunt 2013 tower.
Dream Islands ☺
Another early showcase from me, and for some reason my most popular one in 2014. I hope you enjoy this if you can, like all the other ones It will likely have broken music, and bad teleports. I keep forgetting to fix all of this bad stuff in these old games. Maybe one day I will get to it. Special thanks to FalconAviator, BlueBlizzard558, and CrimefightingChicken for helping me with this old game and not only allowing me to experience my first ever collab which was great, even if I kind of dislike this place now it holds plenty of early building memories of joy.
The Double Worlded Tower
Another aged showcase with some of my first tries at a more built architectural. I'm putting it up here with others since it's a representation of a huge amount of maps that used these assets in varieties of different ways once it was finished.
GA: Mushroom Skyforest
Rest in Peace Map. Bounce doesn't work :( First stage to Galactical Adventure. 2nd build of GA that was all solo work. Even if Legacy is broken this still at least decently works so I will keep it up on my profile as a showcase of the projects remains. Not only that but as a memory of an entire summer I spent working and showing off this as it was a big project. What a joyous experience it was to have so much people come around. It showed me confidence in what I do, and it showed that I could do so much in better near future. Difficulty: Simple n' Easy Gimmick: Intro stage with bouncy mushrooms and super bouncy gold mushrooms.
Challenge course: Old Space Bits
From a solo project called "Skylands: Dawn of a New Era". Rest of the project aged terribly but this stage I actually still find neat and hard, with a dwindle of contrast from what was my standard of build. Credit to Polyhex for some of the rotating platforms and the speed power up
This place is like color vomits and photoshop in a blender. Love it.
