Zenn-La the planet where Norin Rad had lived in peace and prosperity. Norin Rad had lived with his beautiful wife, and was a leading officer on Zenn-La. Zenn La had been a peaceful planet for centuries balancing out the other races. Until one day Galactus devourer of worlds, had started an invasion on Zenn-La. Norin Rad being as brave as he was had chosen to fly up into space and confront Galactus. Galactus had been displeased but striked a deal with Norin Rad. Now Norin Rad would have to become the herald of Galactus too save his planet, He would have to become the Silver Surfer.

Azazel claims that many years ago an ancient horde of demonic humanoid mutants from biblical times called the Neyaphem were in an epic battle with a group of angelic xenophobic mutants, named the Cheyarafim. The Cheyarafim were victorious in the battle and banished the "demons" to an alternate dimension for all eternity. The Neyaphem's leader, Azazel, was the only one who was able to breach the dimensional void for brief periods of time due to his teleportation powers. His only hope to return to earth was by impregnating women because his children are linked to his dimension.(Azazel is part of Soldierguy10's Marvel Heroes Arcade Universe and is part of Cosmicsurfer's X-Men Arcade Universe and autoblotblurr's Marvel Dark Ages Series.)
