  • Kooti Mandir, Ba

    Fiji Series: Kooti Mandir, Ba Kooti Mandir is said to be the first temple built by Indian Colies in Fiji. It is a collection of multiple shrines. What started off as a small Vishnu and Shiva temple, in 1905 by Babaji Ram Prasad, grew into a big temple. It also houses Babaji's Samadhi, Who left in 1913. The word Kooti means hut, possibly implying it is Babaji's hut. Many such Kootis of great Babas are around Fiji. This temple experience is heavily based off of this Mandir as well as inspired by Ganga Talao, Mauritius
