Hampton Court Palace
Hampton Court Palace in Richmond upon Thames, Greater London, historically was originally a large house owned by Thomas Wolsey, Archbishop of York. In 1514, the grounds were taken by King Henry VIII and he developed it to a similar shape it is today. Further developers include the pleasure loving Charles I (1603 - 1649) and William III of Orange (1685 - 1714), and now it is mine!
