  • [LOCAL ELEVATORS & DOORS] Mainframe

    I've been redoing this. Feel free to take a look at what I've done so far! Press P to open the settings menu: I added a "Visual Quality Settings" menu so that each user can determine how smooth animations should be. That way, someone with a slow CPU does not have a diminished experience because things are trying to update too frequently, but someone who has the computing horsepower to drive the animations at a better quality is also able to do so. That is part of the awesome power of client-side animations! If you're having performance issues, the first setting to try turning down is "Server LEDs" interval since that is by far the most CPU-intensive system (at least for now, I have some optimizations in mind).

  • (super broken old version) 501st Battalion: Fort C

    Rules: 1 - No hacking (including speed-hacking). 2 - Flaming is allowed, but spamming is not. 3 - Only the server can declare a win. (A message will appear on-screen.) There is no way to "auto-win" for either side. 4 - 3 members of the 501st Battalion must be present for a raid to count. So far, I've banned 9 hackers.

  • Jet Engine Testing Facility

    I've improved this place quite a bit so that now it utilizes the new features Roblox has added, including dynamic lighting. Finally got around to making the "suction" effect run on the client so that movement is more seamless and doesn't have the player getting teleported around. Also enhanced the effect further by tuning the movement rate and damage rate when the engine's fuel is on, and preventing the effect from pushing the player outside the map. ---------------------------------------------------------------- There is a 1/3 chance of a catastrophic failure during each test sequence. This was inspired by Diddleshot's jet engine test place. If you experience excessive lag, try resetting your character once. If that doesn't work, then it's probably not a place issue.
