Home of your Pittsburgh Panthers Seating: 28,653 [BRIEF HISTORY] Built in 1955, commissioned from 1956 to 1983. It was decommissioned from all events 1990. It was abandoned for over 20 years. Bought by the original team, the Carolina Warriors would announce that the Ford Center (now known as the Google Forum) will be there official arena after Rogo was decommissioned a year earlier. There were renovations such as redoing the bottom bowl seats and tearing out the box seating and replacing it with the second level.This also left enough space for a third level. After the Carolina Warriors left the RHA, the Pittsburgh Panthers bought the rink. They proceeded to tear it down,take every last piece of it to Pittsburgh, and rebuilt it. Hopefully the Google Forum is here for many seasons.
