Maymyo, traditionally known as Pyin U Lwin, is a scenic hill town in Mandalay Division, Myanmar, located on a hill nearly Mandalay City, at an altitude of 1,070 meters. It is the summer capital of the British Burmese Colony of Burma, during the sweltering heat of Rangoon, and is the prominent place of the Anglo-Burmese population.
