In the interactive map, players take on the role of a daimyo, a powerful lord in feudal Japan. They must manage their lands, armies and castles, and expand their power through alliances, trade and conquest. This is not a playable experience, rather, a mere representation of the politics of Shogun, which is facilitated through the Shogun community server. Although the hard work we as the team have put into this project, I'm sad to say it will be discontinued until further notice; I am sincerely sorry as I know many of you were looking forward to the genre and it truly hurts me to let you all down like that. Possibly we'll return at one point but for now it's goodbye. As apart of the discontinuation of Shogun, we'll be releasing this map as a showcase of sorts; feel free to observe the clans that never really got to participate.
