⚠️ DEVELOPER NOTE: This game uses real-life abandoned places and real-life demonic figure imagery. Some players may find the visuals disturbing. A content creator with a large following wanted to challenge himself and gain more attention online. To prove how brave he really is, he begins the “5 Nights at Abandoned Places” challenge—spending five nights in different abandoned locations while recording everything for his viewers. But these places were never truly empty. Armed with Salt Spray and Salt Boxes after researching ways to defend himself from aggressive spirits, he must survive until dawn while protecting his sanity from the growing paranormal activity around him. Each night takes place in a different abandoned location. Use your limited supplies wisely. Watch your sanity. Survive all 5 nights… and make it out alive.

This GMK file was recovered from a computer belonging to someone who lived near me. After he passed away, I helped sort through some of his belongings. Among several old hard drives was a Game Maker 8.1 project named "HELPME.GMK". The files are dated between 2008 and 2010. The project appears unfinished, with missing textures, placeholder objects, unused scripts, and areas that seem inaccessible during normal play. The original project did not contain any instructions, so I added a simple introduction screen explaining the controls. Beyond that, I have left everything as it was found. I do not know what this game was meant to be, and I did not want to uncover too much before letting others experience it for themselves.
