All threats have been defeated, the Matoran are once more living on their original island home of Mata Nui, which has been restored since its destruction by the Bohrok (The Bohrok leveled the island after all the inhabitants left for Metru Nui). The Great Spirit watches over them, and often sends new (broken) Toa down from the heavens, in a canister. If the toa is patient, the canister will settle, and burst open. The toa will then be assembled and begin his/her quest.
