📈 Test the performance of your device with this CPU-based benchmark! 📊 Select the intensity of the benchmark with the "Prime Index" parameter (number to calculate prime numbers up to) and receive results in a score-based system! ⚠️ Your game may freeze during a benchmark; this is normal! 🛠️ Technical Information: - The benchmark runs 9 tests, each with increasing numbers of threads (actors) being used concurrently, following the exponent of (2^n). - In each benchmark, an actor with a client script containing the worker code is duplicated by however many threads are being used and is given a range to calculate the prime numbers in (split equally between all actors). - This project shows how using parallel Luau can be significantly faster than serial Luau. 📍 This was a mini-project created in an effort to improve my parallel-based Luau skills.
