It covers about a third of the continent of the same name as the city itself. Upon the formation of the New Democratic Republic, the Consul decided to rennovate an otherwise ruined district of the city, and turn it into the seat of the NDRs government, thereby making the city of Vezlar the capital city of the NDR. Due to this, the term "Vezlarian Republic" began being used about the New Democratic Republic, or at least its government institutions. Most government functions are confined to off-site locations, and facilities hovering above the district, due to the construction work.
