    I think the worst maritime disater of the world.The Gustoff was sailing with over 10,000 germans passenger,and injured german soilders fleeing when the war was at the brenk of ending.A russian submarine lost in the waters scoped out the Gustoff and fired 3 torpedos at the bow length of the ship.Even though the Gustoff had thousands of lifeboats only a few could be used in the short time of the sinking.10,000 passenger,soilders,and crew only 1,000 survived.
