I was fascinated with the destruction physics on ROBLOX so I wanted a place where you could build a quick base and shoot each other.

This is an original copy of the 2007 version of this place, dated 11-24-2007. One evening, this place made it to the front page for like an hour. I was super excited as a kid and I think I got like 100 visits or so from that hour and I thought it was going to be a famous place. It died down, but I had fun showing off the place to people who were in my server. I recall having a lot more zombies here, so I think either a script was regening them or this version was a bit earlier. I'll never truly remember which version was what, but the memories of shooting paintballs from that blue two-story happy home and the Tron skybox are very vivid to me. Oh, and the grey tanks as well, yet I forgot that the Arwings were there... weird, even though I spent a lot of time on dogfighting places like LuigiFan's Airport. "the UNSC spartans and BNF base" I don't remember what the BNF was and I don't feel like digging through my PMs/inventory to figure out, but they must've been some allied clan with the UNSC Spartans (or UNSCDF, I think I interchanged the two names but I assumed everyone was a Spartan like in Halo). We must've been messing around in Build mode and making stuff and throwing Toolbox free models in. Honestly, there's some neat models in here like the turrets and driveable Ghost and Banshee that used to work at some point in time... I'll repair them soon. Also, there this four-legged monolith here that was probably used in an ancient boss-fight game or at least based off of it. I don't remember who originally made it but I swear I played it at some point. Lastly, there's a yellow and red ship here named "Arbiter"; it looks exactly like him, don't you think?

"this place will show the best soldiers in my army" Most ROBLOX clans were pretty small so I think this was all of the soldiers in my "army". I don't even remember if we actually battled anyone. Maybe we did stuff on Are92's Halo places? I don't remember how I actually ranked people. I very vaguely recall us defending the houses on my "build stuff and fight" place, even though the only potential attackers were just random people visiting after they got home from school or something. There's music boxes here and I think they were either Kirby/Mario songs, town.mid that was played from your C:/Windows/Media folder, or the really crunchy Halo riff that was floating around the website in 2007. Also, I have no idea what a UNSC Hyper Trooper is but it sounded cool to kid me.

There must have been some sort of cloner free model floating around because it seems like I just stuffed a bunch of guns in them and had them move around the conveyer belt, which was just bricks with some sort of velocity variable on it. And because it was using Build mode, a lot of the mess just got saved in the place file. Maybe the cloner was derived from Miked's toast model because a lot of the guns are named "toast" in the workspace. So, maybe this is how I thought the weapons in Halo were manufactured... I didn't know Misriah outsourced to ROBLOXians.

There was a small project where I made these "Time Portals" which were just teleport scripts that I followed using the guides on the old ROBLOX wiki that actually used Wikipedia format. It took me until I finished first year Comp Sci for me to actually start scripting on ROBLOX because I was stupid (and still am). Also, despite me proclaiming to test scripts here, I never even got a ban script for robloxcop2 to work. Interesting! I do remember joining Anaminus's Script Builder just to see the crazy hijinks people were pulling with their scripts. I remember people doing crazy stuff with CFrames and lighting to make some neat showcases, as well as just causing havoc with Teapot Turret copies. And then FilteringEnabled happened and loadstring got disabled (which was a good thing, by the way).

The source files seem to date this place to 12-29-2007 so I guess I must've been doing a bunch of Roblox stuff during Christmas Break in 3rd grade. Anyway, I guess this place shows that I was eventually going to post stupid skits on Off-Topic and do a bunch of RPing on the forums because of how much I did it in games. Also robloxcop2 is similarly "banned" here by the sheer power of my words.

I used to roleplay using those morphs and I gravitated towards foxes. I specifically remember roleplaying as some sort of magic fox that used crystals or something at Ganondude's hotel resort. Anyway, morphs were fun in early Roblox. There were Kirby's and Dalek's and Teletubbies and other stuff and sometimes they even gave you tools. Nowadays, the code is so old and the default ROBLOXian has changed greatly so none of the morphs work anymore. I'll fix them soon! I also vaguely recall the a Pokemon game or morph game by a player named huntermc. Oh, and also those giant morphs from those DESTROY A GIANT places.

And of course, a couple of Gravity Hammer's as well that I spawned in because I think clockwork or Are92 or somebody imported it onto Roblox. Also very smart of me to not include a ban script while informing my "arch nemesis" at the same time. I wonder if I ever did try to put a ban script in. Kid me could not understand anything in Lua aside from the title of a script itself becuase I used to think it was pure wizardry.

If it wasn't obvious from my username, I was obsessed with Halo as a kid. I honestly did not remember this map very well but I suppose it was me using the Build mode with some other clan members and making skits with the figures and stuff with Toolbox models. I think a user named robloxcop2 kept spawnkilling or something on my "build stuff" place and I "banned" him by simply declaring he wasn't allowed to do things; he basically became public enemy no.1 for me lol. I don't know if I ever got a conclusion from that rivalry because I ended up distracted by posting on Off-Topic...
