Description
A Roman fort, it was abandoned by everyone living there when news got to it that Rome had fallen, and enemies were on the way to the fort. However, while abandoning, the enemies arrived, slaughtering the citizens and guards. They decided to leave the fort alone, though.
It sat vacant until 1359, when a man named Roberto Aviocidi bought the land. He controlled it until his death, when it was passed down to his son. And his son, and his son, and his son, etc. Then came 1842, when one of the relatives gave it to the Italian Park service. It had been preserved by the family, not a thing changed since Roman times.
Then, Lord Arivici Blackheart bought the land in 1902. He preserved it, and it has been passed down and down the family line since.
