Rothenburg Fortress

𝐑𝐎𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐍𝐁𝐄𝐑𝐆 𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐓𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐒 Rothenberg Fortress is on the eponymous hill, near Schnaittach in the Franconian Jura. In 1806 Napoleon annexed Franconia to the Kingdom of Bavaria and Rothenberg then became superfluous to the Bavarian Army as a border fortress.
