When the empire fell, Balhautsen became contested between various Germanic and Danish powers for years until the Jacobin League occupied the region of Holstein. Balhautsen today is a city with a diverse population of Danes and Germans who, more often than not, fight each other in street battles, the job of controlling the city has now fallen under the papacy, may god shine upon us!
