Description

After the Republic of Vermont declared independence from the United States, both the states of New York and New Hampshire relinquished their claims on the region, leaving Vermont to govern itself. Over the ensuing years, the region underwent modernization and experienced an influx of settlers. In 1812, when the United States declared war on the United Kingdom, Vermont seized the opportunity to expand its territory in New England by declaring war on the United States. A small camp near Montpelier held off the americans with the help of 7 british Soldiers. Join the Green Mountain Boys and fight the americans for the glory of Vermont!
