In Jurassic Park III, Dr. Alan Grant is tricked by Paul and Amanda Kirby, posing as wealthy benefactors, into joining a mission to Isla Sorna. Their true goal is to find their son Eric, who went missing after a parasailing accident. After crash-landing, the group faces relentless danger from dinosaurs, including the massive Spinosaurus and intelligent Velociraptors. They find Eric, who has survived alone on the island, and narrowly escape by outsmarting the raptors and calling for help using a satellite phone. The group is rescued by the Navy, leaving the island as a wild sanctuary for dinosaurs.
