2009 Silverliner Fire 15 Years Later

On November 4th, 2009, a morning SEPTA R5 commuter train was running from Thorndale to Center City. While the train was on its way to Overbrook, passengers and the conductor began to smell something burning, fearing an onboard fire, the conductor ordered everyone on the leading Silverliner to move to the rest of the train, until the train stopped at Overbrook where some passengers got off the train.
