Battle of Saratoga, Fort Saratoga

The Battle of Saratoga was a very important defensive battle for the Continental Army in 1777. This battle would determine the defensive position of the Continental Army for the northern districts of the war. The battle took place at current day Stillwater Township, in Saratoga County, New York. The defensive position was held by the Continental Army at Fort Saratoga.
