  • TRE Ficticio

    El Trinity Railway Express (abreviado como TRE) es un servicio de tren de cercanías de 34 millas de longitud que conecta las dos ciudades de Dallas y Fort Worth, Texas. Fundado en 1996, TRE opera exclusivamente equipos EMD, con 7 ex-GO F59PH, 2 F59PHI y 2 ex-Amtrak/LTEX F40PH. El ferrocarril también opera una flota de solo coches de dos niveles de Bombardier. Recientemente, TRE adquirió trenes "nuevos" de Northstar de Minnesota, que recientemente cerró sus puertas. A partir de esto, adquirieron 6 nuevos coches, 2 nuevos coches de cabina y 2 nuevas locomotoras MPI MP36PH. Esta compra se realizó para acomodar la próxima Copa del Mundo de la FIFA de 2026. TRE opera en una configuración de empuje-tirón, donde cada tren tiene una locomotora en un extremo y un coche de control de cabina en el otro. TRE como empresa está bajo su matriz Trinity Metro, que también gestiona otros servicios de transporte en el área de DFW, incluyendo TexRail, DART y sus propios servicios de autobús. TRE opera hasta 6 trenes en días laborables ocupados y 3 trenes los fines de semana. Ahora, echemos un vistazo a mis clips del TRE.
