1,000 years ago, a volcano erupted in such force that the mountain colapsed upon itself forming a caldera. In present times a city was built in the caldera after discovering geothermal energy that they could tap for clean, safe electricity. At the geothermal plant, the pipline exploded killing 7 workers. The cause of the blast was overheating, a sign that the caldera is going to erupt again. A week after the pipe explosion, an 8.9 earthquake shook the city then there was a thundering boom. Rocks shot through the sky, ash and lava spewed from the surounding peaks, the volcano roared back to life. Then the magma chamber started to cave in, the ground buckles and breaks under your feet.
