Luckily for you, most of it has been scuffed away as nothing more than folklore and stories made to scare little children. A relief to yourself, as you and a few others are the towns newest residents. But a few, the remainder of that most, is undeniably unvarnished. Will whatever is left over of this terrifying origin come to haunt you again? It seems that is up to you. As a citizen, you must carry out your life normally, and help the law when one of your fellow citizens decides to break it. Some citizens take the path of the inquirer, a helper of the law with a keen eye for investigative works. And maybe one citizen, one suppressed by their peers for rumors far too old and obscure to be real, might have their breaking point. Welcome to our town!
