The Court of Cassation, the highest level court in the Republic of France, and the final appellate court. The court does not hear details of a case, but interprets the word of the relevant laws. The Court only hears a case if there is doubt over the wording of the law, and thus its meaning. Currently these premises are under use for other legal proceedings, for which the above does not apply.
