The year is 2009, early August - The virus soon to change the world forever infects patient zero in the Baltic States of Northern Europe, a strain of the Black Plague that lay dormant for some 600 years goes rampant. "The Solomon Virus" as scientists come to name the epidemic in the last few days of civilization moves to replicate in the frontal lobe, creating a new organ completely free of the need for oxygen, killing the hosts' brain in the process. The virus infects others through blood contact from those infected. The Soloman Virus quickly spreads throughout Europe and Asia, nearly devouring The Old World of human life then soon spreads to the New World of the Americas, while somewhat prepared, fall quickly to the Soloman hordes. Now all that remains of civilization rests on the hands of independent survivors and bands of people who have formed to last as long as they can in the new world. The future is grim and the present bleak as humanity slowly fades into mindless hordes.
