Location: Country of Rocolos in the tropical Pacific Ocean Government: Rocolos is ruled by the benevolent El Presidente, Carlos Pomtres, alongside the parliament. Exports: Main export is papayas History: Rocolos was colonized by the Spanish in 1587. After the United States declared independence from the British the Rocolosians were inspired to make a revolution of their own and in 1798 they declared independence from the Spanish government. Due to the location of the island the Spanish had no choice but to allow this to happen. One of the leaders out of the revolution, Rodrigo Deuterres, took power. Until, 1962 the role of leader was always a descendent of the Deuterres family. But in 1962 there was a communist revolution lead by David Pomtres and the entire Deuterres family was all killed. Upon David's death in 2003 his son took power. So, Carlos Pomtres has taken power and rules to this day.
