This base was originally placed to research the flow of phosphobenzene coming from the top of the cliffs. When it was discovered that the Vulcan Planetary Shield, which prevents hostile beam-in, also happened to gap at the same location, the base was armed. Its only remaining weakness is an external fusion reactor. TO WIN A RAID: 1) Open the gate somehow. 2) Take the base. 3) (IMPORTANT) The raid timer will NOT start until the base gate is CLOSED. 4) Hold the base, with the gate closed, for 20 minutes. *If the gate is opened during the 20 minutes, the timer pauses, but doesn't restart.
