The County of Astor is located within the forests of Traor, and served as the seat of King Gwyndol Deutonniere's monarchy. 
The land is also home to the Imperial Monastery, once belonging to the Valtoric religion, now in the hands of the Church of Ava after the purge of those following the native faith. There's a heavy Royal Army presence in the land to quell the unrest.
Bandits plague the hills, causing chaos and misery in the nearby villages.
