Description

Coney Mall:Opened with the park in 1972 as Coney Island, named after the park's predecessor, Coney Island in Cincinnati. Renamed Coney Mall in 1986, upon Coney Island's revival into the amusement park business. The area it themed to have a feel of a carnival with many classic rides, game booths, arcades, and food stands. The paths have been paved with bricks for the 2011 season. The area has three roller coasters, one thrill ride, and five family rides. It also includes a Dinosaur park coming in May 2011.

X-Base, a sub-area, opened in 2007 with the addition of Firehawk. Since Firehawk was built next to Flight of Fear, the area took on the new theme, claiming to be a government area testing new flight-and-propulsion systems. While it is signed, it is not officially marked on the park map, and lacks things such as bathrooms. The X-Base area has two roller coasters.
