It's the early 1800s; revolution and war had cleared Napoleon's path to the throne of the French Empire. War would dominate much of his 10-year reign. The conflict so unprecedented in history, that would leave many nations devastated and the whole of Europe in turmoil. Among many of the huge battles fought during the coalition wars, there were countless more skirmishes; small bodies of troops, advanced or outlying detachments, of opposing armies met each other to secure quick tactical victories
