Casterly Rock - Project

Casterly Rock, nicknamed "The Rock", is the ancestral seat of House Lannister. Set upon the crest of the rock it is named after, Casterly Rock overlooks the harbor city of Lannisport and the Sunseat Sea. Many mineshafts penetrate the lower portion of the rock, where many veins of gold gleam untouched in the stone, awaiting to be found to further the Lannister's already great wealth.

According to tradition, the castle was originally held by House Casterly, the old kings of the rock. But thousands of years ago House Lannister's ancestor, Lann the Clever, a trickster of the dawn age. Swindled the Casterly's out of Casterly Rock.
