The mysterons were about a kilometer away, a long distance for the Lewis guns. but why not try anyways ? After the first burst of gunfire - the mysterons ran for the cover of some stones, but a few had been struck. The shots may not have been heard around the world, but Cloudbase's war against the mysterons had begun.
