Timberwell will be retiring as a base because a new one may very well take its place. You can still access houses, just no longer from the group page within a week.

--Thismonian Timberwell--

Timberwell is a base constructed to primarilly train and direct the Thismonian Cavalry. Although it is often used for training soldiers, Timberwell is also very inforced (and soon raidable as well).

--Residence in Riverton--

Timberwell isn't just a fort, it is also a popular housing region. If you would like a house, there are many available to take residence in.  To buy a home, simply buy a donation shirt from the group store that is appropriately sized for the house that you want.
